This book was gifted to me by my beautiful friend @alisondotjay. Anyone who knows me knows the gift of a book is quite possibly the most beautiful and revered I can receive.

This book was a bit of a beacon in a dark time and after returning from a m This literally just appeared in my view this morning.

I firmly believe we see the things we are meant to, when we are ready to.

I've asked myself what new and different things I'm trying lately. I came up with a few, but I'd like a few more.

Some This must be one of the most descriptive sentences I've read in a long time. It comes from the Julia Baird book Phosphorescence. 

It simply delighted me and allowed me to think of stillness gently dropping into my day.

I wish you all tiny drops of You can't read the label when you're inside the jar.

Sometimes we're so far into something that not only can't we see a way out, but we can't even pause to think, breathe or act differently. It feels like being dumped by a big wave in the surf. It c Phew! That was hard work. Douglas Stuart writes beautifully, no question. He captures Glasgow in all the detail and the not so beautiful glory of Thatcher's 80's. That wasn't the tough bit.

This book is sadness. It reminded me of Angela's Ashes by F
